DayZ at the centre
Exploration, risk, player stories, and a world worth returning to remain the point. Systems should add value without turning DayZ into something else.
AfterHours is a vanilla-first DayZ network built around tense, readable, rewarding survival—not a mod overload. The aim is to strengthen the core loop through clearer PvP pressure, fair raid structure, useful building freedom, atmosphere, and long-term player history.

Choose the server that fits your group and play style, with a clear public connection path and live player count for each.
Leaderboards, timelines, records, maps, and player history turn long journeys, close fights, and hard resets into stories worth revisiting.
Clear rules, transparent schedules, active administration, tickets, and Discord help keep the shared world enjoyable.
The active server switches between closed and open raid rules. Base damage is limited to the weekend window, with 3× fence and gate durability while raids are active.
Owners have a shortcut to their own locks. Non-owner dial attempts are tracked and protected against brute-force abuse.
Building and fireplace placement near another player’s locked base is blocked within 25 metres, while your own locks remain exempt.
Community safe zones prevent hostile actions and construction; designated military areas block base construction while keeping normal survival use possible.
Vehicle exits and crashes remain dangerous, but custom damage curves reduce needless instant deaths while retaining serious consequences at high speed.
Deaths are announced in-game and recorded with structured data for the public stats and player-history systems.
DayZSync and DayZStats turn activity, lives, combat, records, and leaderboards into a readable long-term story.
1.5× zombie pressure, dark nights, and custom weather keep movement, towns, and survival more tense.
Loot is curated by category, not set to a single multiplier—some items are more common than vanilla and some intentionally rarer.
New survivors receive a small field kit: bandage, chemlight, fruit, stone knife, and personal radio with battery.
Automated 15-minute crash-consistent snapshots protect player progress and world state alongside the regular restart cycle.
A predictable four-hour restart cycle keeps the world healthy and provides a consistent rhythm for long sessions and raid planning.
The name is a promise: a home for the stories that happen when the day gets quieter and the stakes feel higher. Join to survive, build, trade, explore, or fight—then see the history your character leaves behind.
The old site’s “Coming Soon” promise is now represented by the live stats experience: player dashboards, expanded player history, continued optimisation and polish, and transparent development information for staff. We deliberately do not publish the retired hand-entered percentage map; the staff roadmap is the current operational source of truth.
News, support, rules, updates, suggestions, and community conversation continue in Discord. Go wild, be respectful, and help make the server better.
